Is your organization in need of and ready for an outside consultant? In getting ready for your annual event or a special celebration — consider these questions:

1. Do you have the human resources to carry out your event in-house?
2. Do you have a body of volunteers to assist in the development of and carrying out your vision for the event?
3. Do you have the financial resources to hire a consultant —with experience, knowledge, contacts— which will ultimately save your staff time to carry out their other organizational responsibilities?
4. Do you have an audience to invite and bring to the event, or are you cultivating this audience? Can the outside consultant help to develop and execute a successful marketing strategy?
